In the vast open spaces of rural Green Garden Township, the wind whips wickedly and the nights are eerily dark. The only structures on this empty stretch of LaGrange Road are the Frankfort Fire Protection District's station and training facility and Fawn Landscaping across the road.

'Ghosts' do not alarm Frankfort firefighters (The Herald News)

Firefighters aren't the sort to be easily alarmed, but they admit therehave been many unexplainable effects, events and even comings and goings at Frankfort Fire Protection District Station 3. In fact, the station will be featured on A&E's new "Paranormal Cops " show, to air at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Has anyone other than my fellow TV lovers at the Daily realized how many ghost-hunting shows are on TV these days? “Ghost Lab,” “The Haunted,” “Paranormal Cops,” “Ghost Hunters” and its spin-offs “Ghost Hunters International” and “Ghost Hunters Academy” all came out fairly recently (with the exception of the original “Ghost Hunters,” which aired in 2004).
